ABOUT THE COMMUNITY

Volunteers (parents, mentors, volunteers) are a vital part of the Gear It Forward team. As the students work to improve their knowledge and complete their tasks during the year, these volunteers work to aid the team. During season, these gracious volunteers build a full practice field that allows our team, and our surrounding teams, to practice and host an open house at the end of season. Still other volunteers help to teach the students or provide materials that keep our team going. Without these volunteers our team would be lost.
